For GBDA 211, I found a poorly built website and had to redesign and improve it.

Process:

I searched local websites to find one that I thought could use some extra work. Step-by-step I moved through the website to find all the design flaws and errors. I took notes of what was wrong and came up with ideas on how to fix them and make the website more aesthetically pleasing. I searched the internet for competitors and studied their websites for comparison. I used Figma to create a high-fidelity prototype of the new design for the web pages.

Outcomes:

The website prototype was a huge improvement over the original one. The high-quality photos were displayed symmetrically, and improvements were made to colour, font, and design to catch the user’s eye and give it a more professional look. The website pages were simplified in a systematic way with information placed where needed. The pages were organized and streamlined for ease of use and to help improve traffic flow.
