For GBDA 301, the objective of our group was to develop an app or website with a business focus that addresses a global issue and provides a solution.

Process:
Initially, we identified a problem and the target audience for our project. Following that, I conducted extensive research and gathered valuable insights from academic articles. Additionally, we conducted interviews with immigrants to ascertain if they had encountered difficulties in locating snacks from their home countries. Next, I examined all potential competitors in the market and formulated a strategy to differentiate ourselves from them. Once the research was complete, we created logo designs, color palettes, and typography to be used in our application. Each of us then created flow charts and sketches to establish the app's functionality. We proceeded to build low-fidelity prototypes and invited feedback from our peers through heuristic evaluations before constructing the final high-fidelity prototype.
Outcomes:
Our team produced an outstanding app that fulfilled all the necessary criteria. This project taught me the significance of investing time in conducting thorough research as it significantly streamlines the entire process. Constant enhancements, reviewing, and refinement were crucial elements that can be applied to any future project.
